The tests

Each test takes about a minute. Take three or more to see your cognitive profile across five skills.

Fair comparisons

Mouse, touchscreen and keyboard results are ranked separately, because hardware adds delay. You are compared with people like you.

Progress over time

Every result is saved. See your best scores, your history and how sleep, practice or coffee change your numbers.

12 languages

The site, the word lists and the typing texts are available in 12 languages, from English and Spanish to Japanese and Vietnamese.

Open statistics

Averages by age, country and device, updated every night from real results, with the method explained.

Questions

Are these tests free?

Yes. Every test is free and unlimited, with your score and percentile.

How accurate are online reaction time tests?

They measure you plus your device. Screens, mice and touchscreens add roughly 20 to 80 milliseconds. MindSpeed compares results only within the same kind of device and explains the method openly.

What is a cognitive profile?

After three or more tests, MindSpeed combines your best results into five skills: speed, visual memory, working memory, verbal memory and typing. Each is shown as a percentile.

Do I need an account?

No. Results are saved in your browser. With a free account they are kept on every device and in the app, and you can sign in with the same account as IQ Test Coach.

Is this a medical or IQ test?

No. These are short self-tests for fun and self-tracking. They are not a diagnosis and not an IQ score.

How are percentiles calculated?

Against recent valid results of the same test on the same kind of device. Until a test has enough results, published reference values are used, and the page tells you which.
